I'm Eva Winanta, a native Indonesian and Javanese speaker. I used to work and live in Bali as education consultant for 5 years and I have been teaching on Italki since 2020. Now, I live in Labuan Bajo, Nusa Tenggara Timur where Komodo Dragons live. I love to share about Indonesian culture, especially Javanese, a little bit of Balinese tradition, and as I live in Labuan Bajo, Manggarai now, I would also like to share with you the local culture here. They are unique and interesting to discuss it while practicing the languages.我的教學經歷
I used to work in education field as Education Consultant for 4 years and I have been teaching English, Indonesian, and Javanese as well as Journalistic since I was college student.我的課程內容與教學風格
I would like to teach students who want to improve their Indonesian and Javanese speaking skills. We can talk about different topics such as daily lives, cultures, mental health, literature work, etc. You can also bring up any topic that you want to discuss. So, these classes will make you more confident to use the language.我的教材

Miss Eva is so lovely! She is a fantastic teacher who is really enthusiastic and is excellent at explaining things! Our immersive Javanese classes are so fun and now I have the confidence to speak and have a full detailed conversation!! She always explains elements of Javanese and Indonesian culture which makes it even more interesting for me!

Wonderful first lesson. Eva gave a brief overview of Javanese culture and how its norms are embedded in the grammar and vocabulary of the language, then taught simple phrases and expressions that captured these nuances. If you believe as I do that language and culture are inseparable, then Eva would make an excellent instructor for you. Looking forward to our next lesson.

I've been studying Indonesian on my own for a little while and I took my first Indonesian class with Eva. She was super friendly, clear and helpful. I was also able to learn some Javanese, which is also my interest, so she was a perfect teacher for me. I had a great time speaking with her and it was a productive class for my learning.
