Certified TEFL English teacher from England, living in Buenos Aires I enjoy working out, hiking in the mountains, watching sports (football, F1, ice hockey, rugby, MMA), cooking (especially Thai and Indian food) and listening to rock and heavy metal music! I'm a fan of Nottingham Forest, Boca Juniors and Flamengo football teams and when it comes to ice hockey I support the Montreal Canadiens. I love to travel and over the past 20 years I’ve lived and worked in Spain, Egypt, Thailand, Norway, Greece, France and Canada. After teaching informally for a year, I have recently acquired my in person TEFL certification from The TEFL Academy in Buenos Aires. I specialise in teaching British English with a focus on slang, idioms, and accent training, and create tailor-made lessons based on students’ interests. My teaching is practical and immersive, incorporating real-world contexts during activities. My experience in hospitality helps me teach professional communication skills effectively. Chris is very patient, supportive, and nice. He tries to find different ways to adapt the classes to you. He provides material about things he has explained, as well as corrections without cutting the flow. For me, his classes are a great experience.
