My name is Joana, I’m 24 years old and I’m Portuguese. I've got a BA in Foreign Languages and Cultures. I speak two languages at C2.2 – Portuguese, which is my mother tongue, and English, which I have been speaking since I was 3 years old. Due to my studies, I speak Spanish, Portuguese, English and the tiniest bit of French.
Chamo-me Joana, tenho 24 anos e sou portuguesa. Sou licenciada em Línguas e Culturas Estrangeiras. Falo duas línguas a nível C2.2 - português, a minha língua mãe, e inglês, que falo desde os 3 anos. Devido aos meus estudos, falo Espanhol, Português, Inglês e um pouquinho de Francês.我的教學經歷

I plan on making some fun, light-hearted classes for people who want to learn Portuguese. It's best if you have a basic level (at least A2)!

I plan on making some fun, light-hearted classes! I like doing interactive exercises like kahoot and other practice exercises! I may suggest some good movies, documentaries, series or articles/books for the student to watch/read.

Just completed my first lesson and I'm even more motivated to keep now! Joana understands the cognitive barriers to learning a language and how to overcome them. This in my view is rare. We came up with a plan for subsequent lessons with homework (which I love!) Plus she was heaps of fun.
