My name is Heather and I love to teach. I also love to talk! I am a native English speaker and have always lived in the United States. I speak very clearly and without a regional accent. I was formerly fluent in French many years ago--until I met my husband 25 years ago and was thrown into Italian (currently B1 & continuing to learn). I know how hard it is to learn a new language! I want to make you feel comfortable but confident in your ability!
I work with teenagers through adults. I have a Master's degree in Teaching - Secondary Education. All lesson approvals require the Contact Teacher form so I can understand your basic needs--which drive our lessons.
All lesson approvals require the Contact Teacher form so I can understand your basic needs--which drive our lessons. I am able to help or practice with a formal lesson from another teacher. Some need conversational practice to gain fluency. Some are preparing for a meeting or presentation and need to be sure they are speaking clearly and correctly. I want to make sure that you present yourself at your best level of fluency both with accuracy in speaking as well as pronunciation. I have many tools available, but we will discuss your individual needs to see if you need these things and which ones are most appropriate for your situation.
