Hi there! 👋
I’m a native Korean speaker born and raised in Seoul 🇰🇷.
I’ve been teaching for over 5 years, working with a wide range of students including Korean teenagers and adults, as well as international learners from New Zealand 🇳🇿 and the U.S. 🇺🇸.
I'm currently pursuing a Korean language teaching certificate, which I’ll complete by 2025.
I also love learning languages myself—my journey with English started in 2020, and I’ve improved my IELTS speaking score from 5.5 to 7.5 ( from B1 to C1) thanks to inspiring teachers around the world.我的教學經歷
Over the years, I’ve helped Korean learners of all levels improve their English and supported international students in learning Korean. I focus on building speaking skills, vocabulary, and confidence.
My teaching approach blends structured methods—drawn from my ongoing Korean teaching studies—with personalized lessons that fit your goals and pace. Having taught across cultures, I make sure my classes are engaging and easy to follow.
When I am not teaching online, I also work at a private academy where I teach students face-to-face.

I use a mix of standard Korean textbooks and custom-made PPT materials tailored to your needs.
Before your first class, I’ll ask a few simple questions to learn about your goals, interests, and preferences.
Each lesson includes a balance of grammar, vocabulary, and conversation practice. Whether you're just starting out or looking to improve your fluency, I’ll adjust the pace and content to suit your level.
I always create a relaxed and supportive environment where you can feel confident making mistakes and grow at your own pace.

Seoyoung was very prepared for the lesson, which was not expected since it was our first one-- I could tell she put a lot of effort into having a plan after the initial discussion of my goals and expectations. She was very encouraging and bright. I also work as a teacher, and I was able to tell right away that she has well-developed lessons and methodology. I look forward to learning more!
