I have been loving my lessons with Ximena! She puts so much thought and care into each lesson, I always leave with a stronger understanding of Spanish. I specifically asked to learn Argentine Spanish and she has been great at incorporating voseo, pronunciation, and vocabulary that is more commonly used in Argentina into our lessons. I would highly recommend taking lessons with Ximena. She is a thoughtful, kind, and dedicated teacher, you will certainly learn a lot with her!

Xime is one of the most talented teachers on italki. Her experience teaching a second language will be apparent from the first class. She speaks English fluently, and you can ask her subtle questions that you might not be able to form in Spanish. Highly recommended.

Además, según nuestra conversación de anoche, también tiene mucha curiosidad por aprender diferentes idiomas y culturas, y me hizo preguntas muy interesantes sobre lingüística y cultura. Lo cual tiene sentido, considerando que Argentina, especialmente en Buenos Aires, es un país muy diverso. Ximena is the best! She has great energy, asks interesting questions, and is very patient while you are thinking or processing. She is attentive to my goals and very organized during our lesson times. I would recommend Ximena's lessons 100%.
