Doi先生 has been an absolutely wonderful teacher to study with! She puts care and attention into her teaching, and I always enjoy every lesson with her. Thanks to studying with her, I have been able to become much more confident in my speaking ability. I also enjoy using the Quartet textbook and workbook with Doi先生. Receiving feedback from my weekly homework has helped me gain a detailed understanding of vocabulary, word choice, and grammar. I would highly recommend Doi先生 to anyone who is looking for a kind and talented teacher!

As great as always!! In the beginning of the lesson I was struggling a bit with many words but it was great practice! It helped me learn words I never thought I'd need so soon in my studying, so I'm glad we covered them 😊 I started getting the hang of things later on but honestly if it wasn't for Maiko-sensei's help I don't think I'd be able to get through some of the things we covered. This is why I'm thankful for having such a great teacher - I know that I have both a great conversation parter and someone to be there and correct me when I face a challenging topic or new words. I can't get enough of how the most trivial word we cover can lead to a whole new conversation that teaches me a lot about our different cultures, introduces me to new vocabulary, gives me a chance to practice my grammar and speech, and is always fun regardless! 今日もお疲れ様でした！来週の授業にもう楽しみにしています😃😃

Good lesson, pretty structured. We talked about my goals, then did some speaking practice from Genki 2, then some more practice with the same concepts but with additional real-world examples.
