Hello! My name is Mariana, I am from Rio de Janeiro.
I love to communicate and talk about the most diverse subjects. I've already visited some countries and I loved all the experiences I had in each of these countries and the best thing is to be able to communicate with people from different cultures and beliefs.
I have been helping people learn a second language since 2009.
To better serve you who want to learn Portuguese, I received a certification to teach Portuguese as a foreign language.
I'm here at Italki to help you stay fluent in the Portuguese language.我的教學經歷
I've started my work as a language instructor in 2009 with publics from children to seniors adults and I have more than 3000 hours of language teaching.
In 2015 I went to England, having the opportunity to bring many cultural experiences to my students who study English.
I remained teaching classes until 2016 when I received a job offer to coordinate a language course.
In 2017 I started teaching on the internet, and in 2018 I moved to Russia, where I teach Portuguese to Russians and other people of other nationalities.
I can communicate in English and Russian if you have any needs.
Today I'm here at Italki to help you speak the Portuguese language fluently.我的課程內容與教學風格
My teaching method is structured with authentic materials. I also use materials specially prepared for learning Portuguese as a foreign language, in addition to using my own material.
If you still don't have any basic knowledge of the language, don't worry, as we will work with the language from its most fundamental and basic level to understand a conversation. After that you will be able to speak your first phrases in Portuguese :).
If you have a base or a more advanced level of the language, we will talk and work on topics of interest to you to increase your vocabulary, improve your level of conversation and pronunciation.

I just finished my first lesson with Mariana and I really enjoyed it! She is papered and can speak good English, which is good for me because i am just a beginner. She also makes sure that you are understanding everything before passing on another subject! Really recommend her as your teacher 😊
