Hello, my name is Marion. I am 29 years old and I live in Hong Kong. I have been teaching French professionally there for 2,5 years and I lived for a year in South Korea where I tought French to Korean students (also using Korean). I graduated from a Master to teach French as a Foreign Language and a Master in International Business. French is my mother tongue but I also fluently speak English, I have an advanced level in Korean and Spanish. I love to travel and eat good food! 안녕하세요 제가 불어 선생님 마리옹이라고 합니다. 한국에서 1년 동안 살았으며 한국어를 열심히 공부했고 일했습니다. 불어 교육 석사 학위를 받았고 현재 홍콩어세 불어를 가르친지 2년 반이 됐습니다. 외국어를 배우기 아주 좋아하고 한국 문화에도 관심이 많습니다. 불어는 한국어만큼 어려우니까 제가 불어를 배우기 도와주기 위해 최선을 하도록 하겠습니다.

我的教學經歷

I am passionate about learning foreign languages, I think it helps you understand different cultures and open you to the world. That's why I myself started to teach French almost 4 years ago to elementary and middle school Korean students as well as adults. It is a wonderful experience and I wish to help more students reach their goals. Thus, I am able to teach in French using English and Korean during the class and adapt to each students' learning speed. 외국어를 배우면서 새로운 세계를 만날 수 있다고 생각합니다. 아주 다른 문화를 알게 되고 새 친구도 사귈 수 있습니다. 전체적으로 마음이 열립니다. :) 저는 불어를 가르친지 4년 되어고 아주 흥미로운 일이고 제가 학생들에게 불어 공부하기 위해서 더욱 도와주고 응원하고 싶습니다.

我的課程內容與教學風格

In terms of teaching methodology I have a relaxed but structured approach. Depending on my students' needs and goals I adapt the content of my class. I encourages a lot the speaking part to keep the class interactive. So even if we have a class about grammar I'll make you participate! I am using dialogues, audio, section of cartoons, texts etc. If there is any specific topic you are interested in I will select related resources to make the class as fun as possible! For DELF and DALF preparation, we first review the exam structure and methodology and we practice the parts that need more in-depth understanding. Don't hesitate to book a trial class so that we can discuss more about you! :)

I’d definitely recommend Marion as your french tutor. She is very polite and not demeaning even if you make mistakes and ask some very basic silly questions. I was really impressed when she explained about the difference between the two tenses I really struggled with. She is also very fluent in English, so there would be no awkward moment because of language barrier. I think I finally found my french tutor 🥹🥹🥹

Merci beaucoup, Marion. J'ai appris plein de mots et d'expressions. Je suis très contente de avoir beaucoup parlé. C'est difficile d'exprimer simplement ce que je veux dire, mais comme la semaine dernière, je vais écrire avec expressions de aujourd'hui et pratiquer dire ça. Merci de toujours adapter à mon pas et m'avoir motivée !!
