Hello. My name is Risa from Nagano JAPAN.
I have been teaching Japanese since 2016.
I have lived in China, Canada, the United States, and France.
I like music and traveling.
I have traveled to over 30 countries.
I went to many places in Japan as well.
I may be able to give you some good advice for those who are thinking of traveling to Japan.
I also like watching movies and anime.

Since I have studied English, French, and Chinese myself, I know how you feel and the problems when studying a second language.
I will adjust my teaching methods to help you feel more comfortable and relaxed while studying.
I believe a great teacher is to provide lessons that keep you motivated.
私自身英語とフランス語、中国語を勉強した経験があります。第２言語を勉強する際どんな点が大変か理解することができます。

The goal of my class is to improve your fluency and confidence in speaking Japanese.
Based on my nearly 10 years of experience as a Japanese language teacher, I am confident that the book ``GENKI'' is the most recommended for beginners and one-on-one lessons.
Please let me know if you have any particular goals or requests.
I will give you homework and self-study advice.

Risa's lessons are engaging and fun! She asks questions to help me practice the Genki lessons and test my knowledge. She's also able to answer the questions I have about the different nuances in conversation. Learning Japanese is challenging! But she makes it enjoyable.

I have been taking lessons with Risa san for a year now and I feel like I have improved. Of course, I need to study on my own to remember things and reinforce the grammar concepts. Still, if I forgot things, Risa san will kindly help and take time to explain things in details. She seems to have a good understanding of my personal growth and can address issues specifically.
