Hello! My name is Alisa Rachel! I am a native Hebrew and Russian speaker and an advanced English speaker. I love learning new languages myself because it allows me to meet new people all around the world. I also enjoy doing art and animation :) I love my native language, Hebrew, because it's beautiful and has a rich history, and I will be more than happy to help you learn it too!

As someone who learned, and is currently learning new languages, I know that it is not easy, and starting to speak it is even harder due to uncertainty and shyness. I am here to help you break through these barriers. I am an easygoing and curious person, which allows me to connect easily with my students!

Even if you are starting and don't know the Hebrew grammar yet, it's okay. I believe the best way to learn a language is by speaking it because it allows you to learn the grammar by ear.
My lessons will consist of conversations in Hebrew, based on the interests and hobbies of my students, allowing engaging lessons that give a much wider vocabulary.

Alisa has been teaching my 6 year old daughter Hebrew for a little over a month and I am very pleased with the progress my daughter is making. Alisa has been open to accommodating and tailoring the lessons to make this a fun experience for my daughter. I highly recommend her!

Alisa has an excellent understanding of linguistics and the methods behind language learning. Classes are structured to allow for both speaking and conversational practice, as well as vocabulary growth. She also puts in a lot of effort to create review material for her students to study outside of class. I have found her materials to be a fantastic guide to learning at a pace that works for me.
Overall, I absolutely recommend her!
