Marianne

Wow, I can't believe it, I've been one of Marianne's students for about a year now, and I am stunned on how much progress I have made tackling German Grammar because of her! It was such a daunting task before I started my lessons with Marianne and I often wondered if I would ever be able to get the hang of this beautiful and complex language. I am happy to say that it is no longer a large confusing mess, but something that has a wonderful logic to it and every lesson, more pieces of the overall puzzle become more clear and make sense to me. Marianne is a fantastic teacher and helps with every question and guides you through the most complicated of sections with ease and makes things easy to understand. I am so happy I was able to find her. Definitely give her a shot; she is worth it!

I've had the pleasure of taking Marianne's "Konversationskurs" in German for the last three months now. Whilst I already had a fairly strong grammatical knowledge of the language, she has in such a short span of time completely transformed my confidence and ability to converse fluently in German. Her attention to detail, and collaborative and patient approach, makes one feel totally comfortable in class and motivated to continue learning. Danke dir, Marianne!

I’ve been taking German lessons with Marianne to improve my German. She is always friendly and patient, and her explanations of prepositions were clear. Her lessons are well structured. She gives quite useful homeworks that I can reuse most of examples as a daily usage. She is also creative, uses funny pictures for the lectures. So I get positive vibes during her lessons. Finally, I now feel more confident using prepositions correctly and speak more clearly, consider taking more courses from her.

I passed my B2 exam at the Goethe-Institut earlier this year. This was possible thanks to studying with Marianne. Learning German with Marianne is targeted and focuses on the areas that are important to me. My focus is on grammar and speaking. Marianne has a clear understanding of German grammar and can teach it easy and fast! I have now achieved my goal of getting a job in Switzerland and continue improving my speaking by having conversation classes with Marianne.

Marianne provides pictures to help me connect ideas in German with my limited vocabulary. It's great!

Marianne is doing a great job of teaching me separable verbs, which don't exist in English. She's very positive and patient!
