Hi and welcome to my profile. My name is Kat and I am here to help you perfect your German or English.
In the past I have worked as a Learning Tutor across many high schools and academies in London. An opportunity to be part of the Prince's Trust Team Programme, where I mentored students with special educational needs brought me to teaching and tutoring young children with autism.
Half of my life I lived in Germany, the other half in England. In-between I did a lot of travelling.
Being able to speak languages with the freedom of complete expression is an amazing process. It brings opportunities, friends and confidence. I look forward to meet you and help you on your journey.

I am currently learning my third language. I really do understand how hard it can be to learn a new language, let alone to master it. I am a very relaxed teacher, I know from experience that the most effective way of learning is by enjoying the process and having fun! I am also pretty flexible when it comes to teaching, depending on your level, need, interest or simply just that mood of that day. 我的課程內容與教學風格
My lessons are based on engaging conversations and fun ways of learning and practising your vocabulary and grammar, all according to your needs and interests. Interactive games and different types of media can be great little additions to our lessons. If you like homework, I can give you interesting assignments but overall there is no pressure. The goal is to learn through speaking and enjoyment.我的教材

I had a great time with Kat today. She is really supportive and encouraging, and extremely patient. It is easy to naturally feel a bit embarrassed when struggling with a new language (at least for me) but that quickly dissipated with Kat. This was only my second meeting with her, and I was disappointed when our session ended because I found myself really wanting to continue to talk with her, even with my very limited and bad German. She's a great coach and cheerleader and makes it a point to not only help me learn German but to build my confidence in the process.

Katharina is adaptable to what you want to focus on and to your ability. This was perfect for a beginner like myself. She is also easy going, relaxed and patient which are always good qualities in a teacher.
