My name is Yulia, I am a professional certified Russian language teacher. Born in St. Petersburg, Russia, I have been living abroad since 1994. I have worked taught Russian and English in the USA, South Korea, Australia, Russia, France, Germany and Thailand. I love traveling and learning new languages. I have visited 20 countries, lived in six, and speak five languages. Exploring new cultures and teaching and learning languages is what my life is really all about.我的教學經歷
My teaching career began twenty years ago while I was pursuing my degree in South Korea. I have taught Russian to both children and adults at all levels, from elementary to advanced. My main goal is to help students expand their vocabulary, gain confidence when speaking Russian, and succeed in their academic or professional careers. My classes are practical, fun, and custom-tailored for each student. We focus on natural flow of language. Maximum language immersion is achieved via classroom interaction and homework assignments; to really start speaking, you must do the talking. I am fun and resourceful, my lessons are interesting and productive. My talent is explaining even the most difficult rules that will make you advance very fast. I don't waste time and my goal is your fluency.
Each student gets a unique set of materials - depending on their level and the progress we make. To use the lesson time as efficiently as possible I create an individual online-program for each student. It can be accessed from the web-browser as well as through an app on their mobiles/ tablets. It contains several sections: extracts from our coursebook, workbook, grammar, audio and video files, exercises. Each new lesson is already in place before the class starts.我的教材
