Hey you! ✌️😄
I have over five years of teaching experience and 800+ lessons completed, and my students keep coming back. They often say it’s because I focus less on being overly “teacherly” and more on being human—real conversations and genuine connection.
I live in Finland, run a small business, and study Psychology at the master’s level online. Outside the classroom, I lift weights, wrestle, read, write, and treat good food very seriously.
Life has tested me more than once, which has made me approachable, grounded, and a genuinely good listener. My lessons aren’t heavy or intense, though—rather thoughtful, supportive, and full of humour (and the occasional glitch in the matrix 😄).我的教學經歷
I do not offer grammar lessons, and I work exclusively with fluent speakers.
My lessons are laid back. I am good at listening, helping you find the right words, and I'll correct you if necessary. I will also type the words down in the chat if you find it useful. Session recordings are welcome. 我的課程內容與教學風格
Terms & Conditions:
-> If I have another lesson after our lesson, I will end the conversation 5 minutes before end (60 min -> 55 min) in order to ensure punctuality. Though usually, if the conversation is aggravating and the situation allows, I'm prone to go overtime.
-> If you show up late, unless I have nothing else to do after our lesson, we will end at the regular time
-> If you don't show up without prior notice, the lesson fee will be charged.
-> Rescheduling please with prior notice, except in case of emergency. Otherwise, the lesson will be fully charged.5.0

Fun! That's the one attribute that's not listed for the teacher. Hans is enthusiastic and interested in my activities. He encourages me to tell me as much auf deutsch as I can, which is vital to actually learning the language. And we laugh a lot -- at the situations and at my mangling the language -- but he always makes me feel positive about how I am learning.
