Hello! My name is Ethan Moran. I love languages and meeting people from all over the world. Right now, I am a student and support myself as English Tudor. I study Japanese and have an English teaching certificate (TEFL). My hobbies include playing piano, music production, Singing, and language study. I am very passionate about teaching English and am studying to acquire my TEFL certificate now. I also intend to take the JLPT Japanese language test in December of this year. For me, the greatest joy comes from meeting people from all around the world and helping to achieve their goals in English.

My teaching style is mostly focused on immersion and conversation. If necessary, I can use Japanese in our lesson to help explain concepts. I speak English in a very clear way with no accent. If you have any particular areas of concern, I would be happy to formulate a lesson plan for you. Mostly, I hope to help you feel relaxed and to have fun speaking English.

Ethan is a really affable teacher, and speaks in an amiable tone of voice. Also he listens to me with great sympathy, and that made me feel easy to talk. I’m impressed with the knowledge he has about Japanese culture even though it’s only nine months since he started learning Japanese. I look forward to sharing more next time!
