Hi! I’m Mengshu, a native Mandarin speaker from Shenyang, China, now based in Europe. I’ve also lived in France and the United States, which helped me better understand different cultures and ways of thinking. I studied Chinese and English translation and work in the language field, so I use both languages every day. I’ve also learned several languages myself, including French, Korean, and some Polish, so I understand the challenges of learning a new language. Outside of teaching, I enjoy video games, hiking, scuba diving, and board games. I also have two cats and a dog, so if you’re an animal lover, we’ll definitely have something to talk about! I’ve taught international students and colleagues, so I’m familiar with the common difficulties learners face, especially when it comes to pronunciation and sentence structure. I’m good at explaining Chinese clearly in English, and I always try to keep lessons relaxed and easy to follow. My goal is to help you build confidence step by step. My lessons focus on practical communication. We won’t just follow textbooks and we’ll practice real-life situations like ordering food, making friends, or even business conversations. Whether you’re a complete beginner or want to improve your speaking, I’ll customize each lesson based on your goals and pace. I believe learning a language should be fun and engaging, so I like to include topics you’re interested in to make the process more enjoyable.
