I recommend Cady to everyone looking to improve their Mandarin, both as beginners and as intermediate/advanced learners! My listening and speaking have genuinely improved more in the past 2 months learning with Cady than it did in the 1 year beforehand. She really takes the time to prepare for every lesson and review your homework around the lesson, dedicating a lot of time to her students, and is very receptive to how you learn - I feel like I've been pushed out of my comfort zone in a way that has helped me learn very quickly, but has also felt easy thanks to Cady's friendly and patient attitude. Her English is also extremely good, and she's able to explain concepts clearly both in English and in Mandarin (to help with immersion). Thank you!!

I've been having lessons with Cady for a few months now, and my Chinese speaking/listening have improved massively in this time! This is thanks to the mix of approaches she uses in her class, covering both engaging small talk and more formal long answer questions. I really appreciate that she sets interesting homework and takes the time to review it and talk you through the feedback. Even though I'd been learning for two years before starting lessons with Cady, I was initially very shy about speaking and struggled stringing together sentences. Cady is a great teacher and has helped me improve my conversational Chinese so much! Lessons have been a mixture of conversation practice and long answer questions, and she's very good at pushing me out of my comfort zone to help me improve. She's also very attentive between lessons and reviews my speaking practice to let me know where I can improve. Strongly recommend!
