Hi! I’m Johnny — a South African-born Chinese content creator and language enthusiast fluent in both English and Chinese. Growing up between two cultures taught me how language can open doors to new perspectives and connections. I’m also a language content creator on RED (小红书), where I share fun, practical tips to help people learn English and other languages in more natural, enjoyable ways. Through my own journey — from self-studying French to reaching B2 in just six months — I’ve developed a deep understanding of what it takes to learn effectively and stay motivated.我的教學經歷
As a teacher, I see language not just as a subject, but as a bridge — a way to connect with people, culture, and ideas. I bring that same mindset into every lesson. My goal is to create a relaxed, motivating environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and expressing themselves. I believe that fluency comes from real communication, not perfection.
Because I’m also a content creator on RED (小红书), I love blending creativity and modern learning methods into my teaching — whether it’s through cultural discussions, practical conversation topics, or even real-world content like short videos or news clips.
