Lina is a very sympathetic, dedicated Spanish teachers always trying and succeeding in including very interesting aspects about Latin America or Colombia in order to give me a chance not to just learn a language but even to widen my cultural knowledge and to get a more deeper insight in what living in Colombia is like. Lina is a very encouraging, patient and supportive teacher always willing to help in any possible way and for me it is a real pleasure to take classes with her as she has successfully contributed big parts to the fact that I completely lost my fear of talking Spanish, simply because it is so easy and pleasant to lead conversations with her. I am really glad and happy having taken the decision to take classes with her quite a while ago, never regretted it since and definitely will not do in the future. Looking forward to many more helpful and entertaining lessons to come. Don't hesitate, give it a try, you definitely won't regret it!

I’m using Italki for conversational practice, not grammar or vocabulary building. I have other resources I’m using for those. I really enjoyed this conversational practice with Lina. I was able to speak as much as I wanted, and then she kept the discussion flowing with new related topics whenever it was required. I made lots of errors, but instead of stopping me every time, she would let me finish speaking and then pass along the correction. Think about what happens when someone interrupts and corrects you while you are speaking English. You lose your train of thought and now you start second guessing yourself. She speaks great English so when I needed to use English, she easily understood. Anyway, I’m super happy to finally get conversation practice and Lina is la mejor para esa definitivamente.

Lina is a fantastic teacher, she speaks with a very clear accent, always has something prepared for the class and gives you help or corrections without breaking the flow of the conversation. I couldn’t recommend her enough!

Lina is an outstanding teacher. I've tried several conversation-based lessons in the past, but none have been as effective. Lina not only offers timely corrections, but she also takes the time to pause and explain the reasoning behind them. Her deep-dive explanations, paired with real-world examples across different contexts, have been incredibly valuable to my learning.
