Nuno is by far the best language teacher I've ever met. I started learning PT from 0 with him back in June '21 through a language school, and by the time I moved to Portugal in Sept, I was able to communicate with people with no problems at all. Not only is he a good teacher, he is also super friendly & nice-- you can also tell how much he loves the Portuguese language (and literature). His classes are well balanced: he can teach proper Portuguese grammar, but also how people normally talk (slang, common grammar errors, etc). HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I started working with Nuno in June 2021. I didn’t know any Portuguese at all. I was in a class and after a month I wanted to quit because it felt too hard. Nuno offered to tutor me so I could keep up with the class. He also encouraged me and explained things so well that learning became fun. Because of him I stuck with learning and now I am a B1 level. I am so grateful for his guidance and patience with me. I still continue to tutor with Nuno and highly recommend him to anyone new or advanced.

Nuno is enthusiastic and encouraging. He often gives ideas on how to remember certain things. He's easy to understand and gives homework to help me remember things we've discussed. The most important thing is he gets me talking thereby giving me confidence to speak portuguese more often.
