5-Star Ayumi-Sensei. 皆さん､こんにちは！　久しぶりにコメントを書きますね。あゆみ先生は優しいと言う評判ですね。しかし、優しい性格よりあゆみ先生の特長は僕の弱点を一生懸命頑張って教えてまいただきます。幸い結局､学生の為にあゆみさんにだんだんペラペラだし自然だし日本語を教えてもらいます。皆さんにこのポイントを伝えたいと思います。必ずあゆみさんを勧めます。

I've been taking Ayumi San's lessons for a few years now and have been able to improve my Japanese so much thanks to her teaching style - but more importantly, SHE CORRECTS YOUR MISTAKES! which is quite rare here on italki unfortunately, but Ayumi helps explain grammar points and gives great feedback on what to use instead and encourages you to speak a lot. her classes are great for people who want to use books and study the traditional way but also for people who want to speak lots and learn vocab about niche topics and Japanese culture. thank you sensei, recommended for all levels and those that want to learn lots!

Best Japanese teacher. I've been taking lessons with Ayumi for a long time now and she always offers easy explanations, speaks in easy-to-understand Japanese that adjusts with your level (allowing you to building speaking/listening skills), and writing notes for the vocabulary used in lessons. She also has a ton of PowerPoint slides for the grammar from Minna No Nihongo (one of the most popular texts). She really puts the "professional" in Professional tutor on iTalki. If you're serious about learning, I would recommend her, because she has all the experience and know-how to bring your Japanese to where you want it to be.

She explains the nuances of what you say or what the text is saying. To me that is valuable in helping me understand concepts and she provides information not found in textbooks. She has identified my areas of improvement from the very first lesson, and is diligent in correcting my mistakes, even pronunciation. I have many lessons booked and look forward to being her student.
