Chika is a great teacher and I really enjoy speaking to her in speaking lessons with her. She’s great at helping me take the parts of the sentence I’m trying to say and helping me to put them together to make a good sentence using grammar I already understand. The document she provides in each lesson is also really helpful for my vocabulary review and understanding where I made mistake and how I can keep improving!

I always enjoy my lessons with Chika san. My primary goal with Japanese is conversational ability, and she has a great ability to adapt her speaking to my level and keep the conversation going. I'm sure I will be more prepared for my next trip to Japan because of our lessons.

Chika Sensei’s lesson is always really enjoyable. When doing conversation lessons she always asks great questions and allows conversation to flow, while doing a great job on controlling her grammar and vocabulary to make it easy to understand and continue the conversation without it ever feeling unnatural to speak in a second language.

I've been having Japanese lesson with Chikaさん for a while now and can say that she's one of the best teachers I've ever had. She's an experienced teacher and knows how to create an engaging lesson. She would constantly adjust the time we spend on each grammar point or sentence structure according to how well I understand them. If I find myself struggling with a certain point, she would make sure I get enough practice before we move on to the next topic so I can learn at my own pace and fully comprehend everything. She is also friendly, patient and easy to talk to, which makes the lessons not only productive but also very enjoyable. I would highly recommend Chikaさん to anyone who's learning Japanese, she is simply an amazing teacher! Chikaさん、これからもよろしくお願いします^^♪

First Lesson was so helpful and really kept me engaged!

I always enjoy Chika Sensei’s lessons. She always efficient guides me to express my thoughts in Japanese even when I’m not sure of the right vocabulary or grammar. Because of this I’m always able to have interesting discussions with her, even though I’m doing it in a second language. She is very attentive and often refers back to our conversations from previous lessons, leading to lessons feeling very natural. I really enjoy practicing speaking with her!
