Hi! My name is Yuni. I’m a native Korean speaker, born and raised in Seoul. I’m a certified Korean language teacher and a licensed tour guide who loves everything about Korea!
One of my biggest dreams is to travel around the world, including your country! Do you want to visit Korea too? I believe that learning about a country’s culture is like traveling, even if you stay in your cozy room. Culture is more than just traditions and history—it includes language, food, art, and everyday life.
So, let’s explore Korean language and culture together. I invite you on a journey to Korea!
(Currently a community tutor, but will transition to a professional teacher in 2025.)

Many students say my lessons are encouraging and that I am patient. My goal is to help you feel comfortable using Korean and build confidence.
When I was learning English, I was shy and struggled a lot. Since Korean and English are very different, I understand the challenges you may face. That’s why I want to support you at any level. Don’t be afraid! I’ll help you improve in a calm, friendly atmosphere.
Since 2011, I led Korean and English language exchange groups for several years. Since 2021, I’ve been teaching Korean, meeting students from all over the world, both online and offline.

I provide personalized lessons tailored to your needs.
🔹 Free-talking practice – We’ll have natural conversations on different topics. I’ll use sentences that match your level and help you express yourself better. I’ll be patient and guide you to speak more in Korean. After class, I’ll send you key expressions and vocabulary so you can review them anytime.
🔹 Structured lessons with learning materials – If you have materials you’d like to use, such as textbooks, videos, or articles, feel free to share! If you’re unsure, I recommend using textbooks from Sejong Institute for structured learning. We’ll choose a book based on your level and focus.我的教材

I've had another productive and efficent class with Ms. Yuni that never fails to bring a smile on my face whilst learning Korean, something that I didn't think would happend when I was starting! Im always surprised with how patient and understanding she is in our classes, which is something that I would emphasize when describing her as a teacher. All in all, everything has been excellent, and she is definitely my top recommendation for anyone looking for a Korean tutor!
