Hello! My name is Sian and I'm from London.
I am available for bookings at any time for editing and proofreading. For teaching, please message me for availability.
I am a fully qualified teacher specialising in academic and business English, and I have many years of experience working in English language services and in schools. I have a First Class Bachelor's Honors degree in History and a Master's (Distinction) in Politics, both from the University of London. I am also a PhD researcher.
I am currently learning Dutch, so I'm also a language student! I think this helps me to be a better teacher. My interests include music, cycling and knitting.我的教學經歷
I am fully qualified to teach English as a second language, and my qualifications include specialisation in teaching students online as well as preparation for academic study in English.
I've been teaching English for many years, as well as editing and proofreading professional, academic and commercial English texts.

In my lessons you can expect a friendly and relaxed approach where you can feel comfortable asking questions, and know that making mistakes is always positive!
I will create a course of lessons to match your specific aims and objectives, using tried and tested methods and authentic 'real-life' materials such as newspaper and magazine articles, video clips, and professional website content. This makes the learning process relevant and interesting and builds your knowledge of culture as well as language.
You can also expect to enjoy lots of speaking, listening, reading and writing time, which are the best ways to practice language, improve your skills and progress quickly on your journey!我的教材
