I'm an English teacher with 10 years of experience around the world. I've taught students in Colombia and Japan before moving on to online teaching where my clients have included Google, Nestlé, Amazon and Toyota. I'm Canadian but currently living abroad in the Caribbean. I love to share my knowledge and contribute to my student's growth and development. Outside of work, my passions are dancing, photography and hiking.我的教學經歷
First and foremost, my goal is to understand my student's motivation for learning English, which I then use to personalize my lessons. I focus mostly on speaking, listening and reading, with elements of writing.
One of the core aspects of my teaching that my students prefer is the written feedback I send them after every single lesson; this feedback includes corrections of the mistakes they've made during the lesson. With this tool in hand, my students can immediately start improving their English from the first lesson on. 我的課程內容與教學風格
My lessons cover a wide range of topics. I often use my own material, revolving around new articles and videos, as a base to practice speaking and comprehension and touch on vocabulary and grammar. Ultimately, my goal is to foster a deeper conversation about the topic at hand through open-ended questions and activities.我的教材
