I have been in Miss Yen's class for a while. And every time we're done, I know more than before I came. I really enjoy her class, she's super good at her job, and I thank her for everything she has been teaching me.

She’s super friendly and comes into the class with a plan and really does want to help you without talking about daily things that everyone talks about. She was really fun to talk to, but in my lesson she did most of the talking so I didn’t get as much opportunity to practice speaking as I was hoping for. This might work well for students who prefer more listening, but I personally need more speaking time.

This teacher is a great listener and she is also good at guiding the conversation to keep things flowing smoothly. She talked about basing future lessons around specific things while also working on my conversational weaknesses. It sounds like a really smart, guided approach to instruction.
