My name is Carmen. 👩🏽
• I live in Austin, TX but I am from Argentina.🌎
• I am an interpreter in musical theater, a Yoga teacher and a Spanish teacher. 🎭
• I have been working in a school since 10 years, where I discovered how transformative education is as well as the cultural exchanges that can be generated. All these exchanges are what make us grow and strengthen humanity.🏫我的教學經歷
‣ I focus on the needs of the students, I am very observant and reflective.🧐
‣ I try to generate a climate of trust to be able to ask questions, have fun and learn as much as possible.
‣ I like that students are the protagonists of their learning and can share their tastes, interests for the classes. 我的課程內容與教學風格
- Classes will be dynamic and fun.
- Grammar, functions, and vocabulary will be tailored to each student’s level.
- We’ll focus on interesting, everyday topics, often chosen by the students.
- The goal is to learn content gradually and encourage spontaneous conversation.
🕒 Punctuality & Attendance Policy
I understand that unexpected personal or technical issues can happen. However, if the student does not show up or send a message within 15 minutes, I will request the credits in recognition of the time and preparation involved.

Carmen is a very engaging teacher that makes it fun for the kids. She is prompt and reliable. My kids all look forward to her class because she plays fun games in Spanish with them so they don't feel like they're learning even though they are.
