I like to focus on all the language skills but especially on the ability to speak. I want my students to lose the fear of expressing themselves and of making mistakes. I like working a lot on pronunciation, grammar, expressions and vocabulary but in real practice, I want them to see in me more than a teacher a friend who will accompany them in this learning process with a lot of love and patience.
Me gusta enfocarme en todas las habilidades del idioma pero en especial en la capacidad de hablar. Quiero que mis estudiantes pierdan el miedo a expresarse y a equivocarse. me gusta trabajar mucho la pronunciación, gramática, expresiones y vocabulario pero en la practica real. Fortalecimiento de las competencias de docentes LE - Universidad del Atlántico - 2022FORTALECIMIENTO DE LAS COMPETENCIAS DE LOS DOCENTES DE LENGUAS
EXTRANJERAS. En éste diplomado fortalecí mis competencias como profesora de lenguas extranjeras (bilinguismo, evaluación, PBL Project, etc) mejoré mis habilidades como profesora de Español Lengua Extranjera. Obtuve calificación 4.8/5.0 en mi proyecto de grado, en el cuál desarrollé una unidad didactica. Objetivo: mejorar la escritura, fluidez, pronunciación, el uso adecuado del lenguaje y el dominio del discurso frente al público.

Desde junio (cuando empecé a aprender español) he tenido más de cincuenta clases con María y las he disfrutado muchísimo. María es una profesora excelente; sin duda, es una lanza. Con ella, ahora puedo hablar en español sin usar ni una sola palabra en inglés. Me ha dado confianza.

Antes que nada, María es una muy buena profesora. Es decir, sabe bien como enseñar español. Además, es una persona divertida e interesante. Lo mejor es que ella combina puntos de instrucción formal con mucha conversación para mejorar todos los aspectos de la lengua (hablar, escuchar, leer, escribir) al mismo tiempo en una lección completa y agradable. En suma, me gusta mucho trabajar con María, mi profesora y amiga, y la recomiendo ampliamente.

Maria sent me a document with some examples of a complicated grammar concept and she made it easier to understand by using real world examples. Its crazy how much easier it is to understand when you have real world examples.
