I like to focus on all the language skills but especially on the ability to speak. I want my students to lose the fear of expressing themselves and of making mistakes. I like working a lot on pronunciation, grammar, expressions and vocabulary but in real practice, I want them to see in me more than a teacher a friend who will accompany them in this learning process with a lot of love and patience.
Me gusta enfocarme en todas las habilidades del idioma pero en especial en la capacidad de hablar. Quiero que mis estudiantes pierdan el miedo a expresarse y a equivocarse. me gusta trabajar mucho la pronunciación, gramática, expresiones y vocabulario pero en la practica real. Fortalecimiento de las competencias de docentes LE - Universidad del Atlántico - 2022FORTALECIMIENTO DE LAS COMPETENCIAS DE LOS DOCENTES DE LENGUAS
EXTRANJERAS. En éste diplomado fortalecí mis competencias como profesora de lenguas extranjeras (bilinguismo, evaluación, PBL Project, etc) mejoré mis habilidades como profesora de Español Lengua Extranjera. Obtuve calificación 4.8/5.0 en mi proyecto de grado, en el cuál desarrollé una unidad didactica. Objetivo: mejorar la escritura, fluidez, pronunciación, el uso adecuado del lenguaje y el dominio del discurso frente al público.

Maria has so much passion for teaching and life in general, it is very motivating. As a beginner, it’s easy for me to feel overwhelmed with new information and concepts but Maria knows how to explain everything so clearly and with enthusiasm that it makes learning and practicing new things much more fun and easier to understand. She provides a lot of material and examples as well. Maria is one of the best instructors I’ve had on italki.
