Hola! I’m Cristina, a passionate Catalan teacher with 13+ years of experience helping students speak confidently—whether for exams, travel, or connecting with Catalan culture. Fluent in 4 languages myself, I understand the challenges learners face and make lessons engaging with a sprinkle of humor (and maybe a fun fact about our history or traditions). Having studied a diversity of fields including History and Arts, I specialized in Intercultural Education and I have spent over a decade teaching languages first as an extra job, and then finally full-time, which I do find absolutely fulfilling, as languages are one of the main pillars of identity and cultural belonging of any human being. 我的課程內容與教學風格
My lessons are -unless specifically requested- always conversation-centered. This doesn't mean we don't get into grammar, but it is from the conversation that we analyze the structures we are actually using.
We work in being confident and spontaneous, as losing the fear (or shyness) is often one of the bigger problems when learning a new language. And, of course, always with humour!
If you are more into grammar, I love having some deep-grammar, nerdy lessons about the formal aspects of the language!我的教材
