Megumi-sensei is a kind and patient teacher. She is great at speaking at an easy to understand level and breaking down words that I struggle with. Also, she makes her lessons enjoyable, often revises previously studied concepts and is very encouraging even when I make many easy mistakes. I would absolutely recommend as a teacher to anyone looking to learn Japanese at any level!

Megumi is super nice and made me feel very comfortable even though my japanese skills are still very lacking! She provided me with written examples of everything and repeated everything I needed. Would totally recommend!

I've been having conversation lesson with Megumi San for about a year now, and I am very grateful that she had helped achieve a somewhat fluid conversation level. I still make a lot of mistakes, of course, and sentences are not completely natural, but that something to work on my side. Megumi has helped achieve confidence in not being afraid of talking, she patiently waits until I finish what I want to say and shows me the proper way of saying it. Its the perfect balance of keeping the conversation going and correcting me in the way. She is very fun to talk to and easy going, would totally recommend her classes.

Which teacher works for a student is different and Italki has so many teachers, it can hard to wade through them to find the right match. Does italki know that people actually and use fewer services when there are too many choices? I have been taking conversation lessons with Megumi for over a year and I really appreciate her. She is kind, focused and experienced. I have had lessons with tutors that over correct and at least one tutor, a young man, said literally almost nothing at all. Megumi is an intelligent, experienced teacher who will try to help you learn. The other big plus for me is that because she is not in Japan, she is available in the morning USA time .

There are so many Japanese teachers on Italki that choosing a teacher can be overwhelming at first. I recommend Megumi sensei. She helps you improve and expand your vocabulary and grammar.. At first when I was looking for a teacher, I thought that I wanted the teacher to live in Japan, but I have found that teachers living outside of Japan sometimes have more insight into how to guide a learner towards greater fluency.
