Ian is an excellent teacher, and I highly recommend him for all levels of French and English learners. Whether you are studying the most profound literature or merely learning your first words, Ian can teach you all you need to know with patience, erudition, and engaging anecdotes.

I stumble a lot at these early stages as a beginner. Ian is patient but also presses on so I feel I'm making some progress. I'm already learning about pronunciation and things that I haven't been able to get from text books or apps. Looking forward to the next lesson

I have just finished a 10 lesson package with Ian (I also bought a single lesson before the package), and I am so impressed and happy with Ian and the progress I have made. Ian always has something interesting and cool to talk about and talks at a speed that I can understand. I am so grateful that I’ve found Ian as a teacher and I will be taking out another 10 lesson package with him again very soon so I can keep my French up. Ian is also 100% reliable and never has to cancel. I always feel so motivated after a lesson with Ian and it makes me want to continue to see further improvements.

The communication was at my level, beginner. I was nervous at first but the lesson tested my ability without damaging my motivation.
