I go by the name Adlan [IPA: adlan], an enthusiastic language learner. I started self-learning a third language, Japanese, when I was 18. Because of that, I understand a lot challenges in picking up a new language. Now, I'm currently learning Thai and Mandarin as well. With proper planned techniques and guidance, I'm sure everyone is able to master a new language.
In my free time, I like to be exposed to the languages that I'm learning. This includes reading, listening, watching and speaking in those languages. I read stories and articles, listen to songs and podcasts, watch netflix and youtube, and practice speaking with language exchange partners.我的教學經歷
Teaching has always been one of my passions. I have experienced teaching both adults and children. Coming from a psychology background, I apply research backed up theories to help my students better understand and remember the lessons.

Adlan is a teacher I would highly recommend to anyone regardless of their language level. He is always well-prepared, provides as many details as you wish, his English is great (if you need it like me sometimes), and he is very pleasant and fun to interact with. I have been taking classes on iTalki since 2019 and I am always looking forward to a class with Adlan although it may be late, I may be busy with something else, etc. -- the lesson with him always makes me happy and I know that I have learnt a lot at the same time too.

日本語が話せる先生なので、難しいニュアンスのときに助かります。優しいし、先生自信もたくさん語学を勉強しているので、どういう順番で、どう勉強するのが効率的なのかよく理解してくれている。がんばります。good tutor especially to japanese students because he speaks japanese. it helps us understand more and feeling so familiar.

Adlan is a patient teacher that takes the time to check in with his students to make sure they understand the lesson. Instead of just moving on to the next question, he’ll sometimes ask why my answer is the correct one, ensuring I understand the reasoning behind my answer.
