Hello! My name is Debbie, and I am a certified native British English teacher originally from Liverpool, United Kingdom. After spending 16 years travelling and teaching across four different continents, I have now settled back in Europe, currently residing in Italy. Throughout my extensive international teaching career, I have had the privilege of working with countless adult learners from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, helping them improve their English vocabulary and pronunciation to achieve fluency. Whether your goal is to enhance your language skills for travel, business communication, or preparing for exams like IELTS, I am here to guide you.我的教學經歷
On returning to Europe I completed the TEFL course to teach English as a foreign language followed by the Teaching IELTS Preparation course. I really enjoy working together with my students and helping them achieve their goals.
I have a technical and business background so can teach not only general English but also technical and business English.
I have a very open approach to teaching so we will have a fun class with plenty of variety and conversation. I understand the difficulties of learning a new language and living in a country where you cannot understand the language around you as I have lived on 4 continents.我的課程內容與教學風格
I have an open approach to teaching English. Together we can set goals based on your needs and adapt the style of teaching to suit you so you gain the most from your English lessons. I use a variety of materials to teach including video, audio, presentation, interactive quizzes and worksheets.
I specialise in vocabulary, listening and pronunciation skills to increase your overall fluency in English. I create a relaxed and free environment where you can learn at a suitable pace in order to achieve your English goals as I identify areas to improve with ongoing assessment.
I mainly teach adults to improve vocabulary, pronunciation and fluency for personal, business or exam preparation purposes.我的教材
