Hi! I’m Ria, a qualified teacher with over 14 years of classroom teaching experience and have spent the last 4 years teaching English online. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Drama, an Honours Bachelor’s in Education, and a Level 3 TEFL certificate. My neutral South African accent is clear and easy to understand—perfect for English learners around the world!

I'm a passionate teacher who believes that the best way to learn a language is by using it—a lot! My lessons focus on real conversation and active listening because I’ve seen firsthand how speaking and listening together help students build confidence and fluency faster.
I love to help students feel comfortable to express themselves, even if they make mistakes—that’s how we learn! Every student is different, so I always encourage each student to share their goals and expectations with me. That way, I can try to tailor our lessons to fit your needs and help you reach your language goals in a way that feels natural and enjoyable.
