I am Ria and I am from Port Elizabeth, South Africa.
I love traveling and exploring different cultures. I spent two years living in London, and I've also visited Brazil, Spain, Australia, Zambia, Malawi, Mosambique, and the USA. My next dream destination? Finland and San Clementé(CA)!
I have friends from all over the world, and I love learning about their cultures.
In my free time, you’ll find me sewing my own clothes or getting lost in a jigsaw puzzle. I also enjoy hanging out with friends and meeting new people.

Hi! I’m Ria, a qualified teacher with over 14 years of classroom teaching experience and have spent the last 4 years teaching English online. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Drama, an Honours Bachelor’s in Education, and a Level 3 TEFL certificate. My neutral South African accent is clear and easy to understand—perfect for English learners around the world!
I love helping students build confidence, improve fluency. Whether you’re preparing for an interview, improving your conversational skills, or working on grammar and vocabulary, I’ll do my best to tailor our lessons to suit your goals. 我的課程內容與教學風格
I'm a passionate teacher who believes that the best way to learn a language is by using it—a lot! My lessons focus on real conversation and active listening because I’ve seen firsthand how speaking and listening together help students build confidence and fluency faster.
I love to help students feel comfortable to express themselves, even if they make mistakes—that’s how we learn! Every student is different, so I always encourage each student to share their goals and expectations with me. That way, I can try to tailor our lessons to fit your needs and help you reach your language goals in a way that feels natural and enjoyable.

Ria is a wonderful listener with endless patience. She would understand you perfectly even though you might not feel like expressing yourself clearly.
