I have only taken three lessons with Ms. Renu Nanda, and I can already have basic conversations in Tamil, as well as write quite a few of the Tamil letters from memory. She is an excellent teacher and I look forward to continuing lessons with her.

Renu was very fun to learn from. She clearly enjoys teaching! I enjoyed the fast pace of the class and was able to write down a LOT of new vocabulary. Had a little trouble understanding some explanations but she was able to slow things down or switch to English when I got overwhelmed. This was my first time having conversation mostly in Tamil. It was hard but I'm really looking forward to the next class! As Renu says, practice practice practice!!!! :)
