Hoi! I’m Zita, a native Dutch speaker from Leiden, now sharing my language and culture from Brazil. Whether you’re starting from zero or polishing fluency, I specialize in making Dutch accessible—with a cultural twist!
With a background in Cultural Anthropology/Development Sociology and 7+ years teaching English in Brazil (while trying to get a grip on the Portuguese language myself), I understand language-learning challenges intimately. My Dutch lessons blend structure and fun, with a strong focus on practising your speaking skills.
When not teaching, I’m hiking, swimming, or exploring new cultures. Let’s turn "Ik spreek geen Nederlands" into confident conversations ;-)我的教學經歷
Having studied English, Spanish, and Portuguese, I know how challenging learning a new language can be. That’s why I focus on creating a relaxed, supportive space where you feel free to make mistakes—an essential part of learning.
Everyone learns in their own way, so I do my best to adapt lessons to what works for you. It’s really rewarding to see students build confidence and improve, and I’m here to help you along the way.我的課程內容與教學風格
Basic-Dutch Lessons: for beginners that really start from scratch! I teach you day-to-day basic conversation, grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation in a clear and interactive way, to get you understanding and speaking Dutch from class 1 on. The course is very visual and focussed on speaking. It will take you from A0 to A1 level.
Conversation Practise: for students that already speak some Dutch (A2/B1 to C2). We can have an informal conversation about any topic, or I'll send you material (article/video) that you prepare beforehand and tell me about during the lesson. Or a combi of both! Meanwhile I'll correct your vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation.
