Hoi! I’m Zita, a native Dutch speaker from Leiden, now offering my help with Dutch from Brazil. Whether you’re starting from zero or polishing your fluency, I specialize in making Dutch accessible—with a cultural twist!
With a background in Cultural Anthropology/Development Sociology and 7+ years of teaching English in Brazil (while trying to get a grip on the Portuguese language myself), I understand language-learning challenges intimately.
When I’m not teaching, I’m hiking, swimming, or exploring new cultures. Let’s turn “Ik spreek geen Nederlands” into confident conversations!
Having studied English, Spanish, and Portuguese, I know how challenging learning a new language can be. That’s why I focus on creating a relaxed, supportive space where you feel free to make mistakes—an essential part of learning.
Everyone learns in their own way, so I do my best to adapt lessons to what works for you. It’s rewarding to see students build confidence and improve, and I’m here to help you along the way.
Basic Dutch lessons: If you really start from scratch! I teach day-to-day basic conversation, grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation in a structured and interactive way, so you’ll be speaking Dutch from class one on. I prepared slides with information and exercises you can access after each lesson, but the focus is on speaking practice. The course takes you to A1 level.
Conversation practice: If you already speak some Dutch (A2+). We can have an informal conversation on any topic, ...我的教材
