My name is Catarina, I'm from Porto, Portugal and I am a bilingual portuguese tutor. I have lived in 5 different countries - Portugal, Spain, Austria, UAE and now I live in France. After working for 7 years as a Flight Attendant, flying to 60+ countries and working with 140+ nationalities, I have learned to adapt to pretty much any culture, person or situation.

I have always had a big interest in languages (also accents :D). Having moved to different countries makes me understand your struggle as I also had to go through the process of learning a new language myself - btw, I'm learning French at the moment. So I know that the first step is the hardest! However, you can take that first step with me and I will help you get to the level you want :)

我的課程內容與教學風格

I am pretty flexible here: if you want to have 100% conversational classes or if you want to go deep into portuguese grammar, I can adapt. I usually use a wide range of teaching methods - we can do exercises, but we can also read articles or listen to songs. We can even read portuguese poetry, if that's something you like :)

Catarina is an amazing teacher. She always speaks in a very clear and understanding way, however at the same time she manages to challenge you. There is a great balance of structure whilst maintaining freedom to speak about topics and flow through conversation. I always end the class with a full page of new notes about the Portuguese language!

Catarina is such a lovely teacher to practise conversation skills with! She helps you feel comfortable to speak freely, but also corrects your mistakes so you don't create bad habits. I have an intermediate level of Portuguese and she is the best teacher I have had to practise speaking with. Muito obrigada Catarina! <3
