My name is Rie. I was born and raised in Japan. I graduated university in the United States. I’ve lived in Singapore for 2 years and the states for several years.    こんにちは、リエです！日本語（にほんご）のネイティヴスピーカーですが、あめりかの大学（だいがく）を卒業（そつぎょう）しています。シンガポールに2年間（ねんかん）住（す）んだこともあり、アメリカにも数年（すうねん）住（す）んでいたことがあります;)

我的教學經歷

I have experience teaching Japanese from beginner to proficient level students. I help prepare for interviews, Japanese exams, daily conversations, for travel, watching and understanding Japanese movies and anime without subtitles. I'm excited to help you better understand Japanese culture and any questions you may have. 現在（げんざい）、初心者（しょしんしゃ）から上級者（じょうきゅうしゃ）まで日本語（にほんご）を教（おし）えています。仕事（しごと）のインタビューの準備（じゅんび）、日本語（にほんご）の試験（しけん）、日常会話（にちじょうかいわ）や旅行（りょこう）。また日本（にほん）の映画（えいが）やアニメを字幕（じまく）なしで理解（りかい）したい人（ひと）など、色々（いろいろ）な生徒（せいと）さんとレッスンをしています。日本（にほん）の文化（ぶんか）についてより理解（りかい）したい方（かた）などの質問（しつもん）にもお答（こた）えします！

I like to teach and help others with their needs. If you would like to improve your speaking, writing or to understand Japanese culture more (or anything you would like to learn and talk about in Japanese), I am here to help you. おしえることが得意（とくい）で、また、人（ひと）のサポートをすることが好（す）きです！スピーキングやライティング、また日本（にほん）の文化（ぶんか）を勉強（べんきょう）したい人（ひと）。もしくは、とにかく日本語（にほんご）ではなしたいひとなど、大歓迎（だいかんげい）です。また、ビギナーから、上級者（じょうきゅうしゃ）・フォーマルな日本語（にほんご）を学（まな）びたい方（かた）も、リクエストに合（あ）わせて、レッスンをしていきます。

I've had 9 lessons with Rie-sensei now, and I cannot recommend her enough. She is very patient with me (I am still very novice!) and engages with me brilliantly, and has made me feel very comfortable trying to push myself and try to give more complex answers which is helping me a lot - and should say a lot as I am not made comfortable very easily! She's excellent, a great listener, encouraging and just very very good at what she does.

Rie-san has been my Japanese teacher since 2022! I have learned so much from her teaching style. I feel like I'm getting to understand how Japanese works, and not just memorizing words. Rie makes it fun and interesting, and always incorporates aspects of my life into our lessons. I highly recommend Rie!

"The Best Teacher in Town". Rie sensei will teach you grammar and a lot of vocabulary that are useful in daily conversation. She always listens to you very attentively and helps to correct your grammar. A very bright and sunny person that you can feel very safe and comfortable to talk with. Learn a lot of stuff and have a lot of fun in each lesson. Thank youuuuu!
