Rie

I've had 9 lessons with Rie-sensei now, and I cannot recommend her enough. She is very patient with me (I am still very novice!) and engages with me brilliantly, and has made me feel very comfortable trying to push myself and try to give more complex answers which is helping me a lot - and should say a lot as I am not made comfortable very easily! She's excellent, a great listener, encouraging and just very very good at what she does.

I had my first lesson with Rie and she was a pleasure to talk to! Her bubbly personality makes conversation very easy. She took a lot of notes of our conversation and shared them in the chat for me to reference later. I'm sure a learning plan can be discussed in the future as our time together continues but I enjoyed getting the opportunity to practice speaking and reading without judgement. I look forward to my next lesson with Rie-san!

"The Best Teacher in Town". Rie sensei will teach you grammar and a lot of vocabulary that are useful in daily conversation. She always listens to you very attentively and helps to correct your grammar. A very bright and sunny person that you can feel very safe and comfortable to talk with. Learn a lot of stuff and have a lot of fun in each lesson. Thank youuuuu!

Lessons with Rie先生 are always so fun and she always encourages me. I liked that she wasn't pushy and she always goes at my own pace. She knows my level more than me. She caters to what I requested, such as; what I want to improve, what I want to learn and so on. I can't help but come back for more because she makes me feel at ease because she's warm and encouraging. She's even good at explaining, and when I don't get it, she will use gestures and so on for visualization. I can feel that my Japanese and my confidence in my language is improving every time I finish my lesson with her :D

It's been a while since I've had a lesson with Rieせんせい! As usual she was attentive the entire time and she's able to keep the conversation going which I'm grateful for! She also types out unknown vocabulary and sometimes corrections in the message box. During conversation, she would explain things to me in a simple way when I find it difficult to understand and when I couldn't get my answer to come out clearly, she would repeat it in a question in correct grammar and vocabulary and it makes the conversation flow naturally!
