Hi! I’m a native French speaker with 4+ years of teaching experience. I’m passionate about languages, speaking fluent English and proficient Romanian. I love sports, especially swimming and cycling, and I make rap music. Arts, cinema, series, reading, comics and tech are big parts of my life, and I enjoy meeting new people and building lasting friendships. I also have a keen interest in cooking and exploring diverse culinary cultures. I lived in Bucharest for 4 years and have traveled to Italy, Spain, Japan, and more. Jean is a lovely teacher who always takes the initiative. He asks me before each lesson what I’d like to focus on for our lesson, then creates exercises accordingly. He is patient during our conversions and amenable to my schedule and needs. I would highly recommend Jean to anyone who is looking for a great French teacher!

Jean is a very good teacher and his materials are excellent. There is complexity in his notes and exercises that gives the student a close look at the French language. The exercises present a challenge, but the reward is a much greater understanding.
