My name is Maria. I am a native speaker from Mexico, and I have over five years of experience teaching Spanish as a second language. I love meeting new people and learning through teaching awesome students.
Whether you are a hobbyist linguist, fancy learning survival Spanish for a post-lockdown vacation, or need help preparing for an exam - I can't wait to be your teacher!我的教學經歷
I've worked as a Spanish teacher in Mexico, Russia and the UK with people of all ages.
For grammar lessons I like to use books that follow the curriculum designed by the Cervantes Institute to help students achieve the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages standards.
I have also taught conversational Spanish, which could be especially helpful if you are planning a vacation or moving to a Spanish-speaking country. Over the course of a few classes, you will quickly see your confidence and skills growing and catch yourself thinking in Spanish.我的課程內容與教學風格
My teaching style is communicative. I like to select and use different materials such as books, videos, songs and articles to encourage my students to develop their speaking, listening and writing skills.
I can also adapt the format of the classes to suit your learning methods and goals and that's why I'm always open to suggestions.我的教材

The hour flew by. Very patient. She gave me the time to formulate what I wanted to say.
Used a spinning wheel of questions to facilitate the conversation which was fun.
I don’t think I always picked the right verb ending but she allowed me to finish what I was trying to say, which I appreciated.
