Hi, I’m Naomi from Switzerland! I’ve been teaching English, German, Swiss German, Latin and Ancient Greek for more than ten years at uni, public schools and adult educational centres! I love learning languages and I’m looking forward to sharing my passion with you!我的教學經歷
I’m an Eurolta/SVEB-1 and FIDE qualified teacher and have also got the higher teaching qualification for Spanish and Classics (Latin and Greek) in Switzerland. Apart from teaching online, I work at a college and an adult educational centre. At the moment, I'm taking my second degree - Masters in English at Bern.

Teaching for exam classes - International House London - 2025We focused on practical ideas and methods for effective teaching for exam classes. We looked at the difference of exam classes as opposed to general English classes, how to teach reading, listening and writing skills for IELTS and Cambridge Exams.

Teaching Grammar and Lexis - International House London - 2022This was both a practical and theoretical course. We explored different approaches to teaching grammar and discussed the strengths and weaknesses of them. In doing so, we looked at various methods of teaching grammar creatively, developed new teaching techniques to teach English grammar in an engaging way, and we developed techniques to assess our learners’ grammar skills.

Life in Britain - International House London - 2022How to bring British culture to the classroom: on this course, possible ways of sourcing and adapting up-to-date authentic materials for use in class were shown. In the mornings, areas like multicultural Britain, the Royal Family, politics and the political system, the press and media, employment, entertainment, pub culture, etc. were addressed, while in the afternoons, there was a cultural programme (British Museum, Tate Modern, Cream Tea, etc.).
