Hello! I am a certified teacher who has taught Japanese in the United States. I majored in English literature during my undergraduate studies and pursued Japanese language education at the graduate level. I love traveling, listening to music, and engaging in some exercises.

🗒️ 1. Grammar Class: Includes grammar quizzes and creating sentences using new grammatical concepts.
🗒️ 2. Free Talk: You can choose any topic for our class. Through conversation, I will correct grammar and pronunciation. Additionally, I'll introduce some natural and useful expressions.
🗒️ 3. Learning Japanese with Textbooks:
Using textbooks such as Genki, Minna no Nihongo, Quartet, and Dekiru Nihongo, we can efficiently grasp new grammar concepts. The exercises in these books are highly beneficial, and we can chnage the practices to apply for your lifestyle if needed. I am eager to introduce more natural expressions during these lessons if the language feels too "textbook-Japanese."我的教材

Ken is the best teacher! He is easy to talk to, relaxed, and happy to help in any way he can. I was quite nervous and giggly and he made it feel natural and easy to speak the small amount of Japanese I know. I immediately booked my next lesson! Definitely learn with Ken-san, you won't regret it!

けんー先生 is an outstanding teacher. Having tried studying with other instructors, I can confidently say that he truly stands out. He is calm, approachable, and extremely knowledgeable, always showing great patience. While his English is excellent, he prioritizes explaining concepts in Japanese first, and gently encourages you to express yourself in Japanese - even when you feel unsure. Our conversations sometimes touch on more personal topics as well, which makes the learning experience feel natural, engaging, and authentic. Always looking forward to my next lesson. ありがとうございます！
