Hi! My name is Rick. I am 44 years old and I was born and raised in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. I currently live in Paraguay. I have done a lot of traveling around the world as a "digital nomad" for years and I have lived & worked online from many countries. From Poland, Czechia, Romania to Portugal, Spain and the Canary Islands.
My background is in teaching, coaching and the arts. I have had my own company and created products and services in the field of personal development. I have also worked in the Dutch film industry, both in front and behind the camera. All of these experiences compliment my current vocation in a big way, which only serve you more!我的教學經歷
My lessons focus mainly on CONVERSATION practice. Practical things you can use right away in a day to day setting. And the topics of conversation are around topics that are important or interesting to you. Building your confidence in speaking the language and growing your vocabulary from Day 1! From small talk, how your day or week has been, family and friends, hobbies and personal interests to practical exercises like asking for directions, etc. All of this happens in a comfortable and non-forced setting. My classes are both fun and educational!

My classes are very personalised and tailored to your wishes and needs. With beginners, I start with the basics: making correct sentences, pronunciation and listening exercises. With intermediates, I add practicing simple and basic conversation skills.
My lessons are generally 30-60 minutes long.我的教材

Vandaag hebben we gepraat over de onderwerp zelfbewustzijn. Heel interssant. Ik vind mijn spreken heeft verbeteren. Dit is zeker voor mij een moeilijk topic om te uitleggen maar ik heb het goed gedaan, denk ik :-)

I always enjoy my lessons with Rick. He is really friendly and creates a fun and supportive learning environment. It’s great to be able to learn Dutch while discussing so many varied and interesting topics! Even though I am being introduced to new vocabulary and learning Dutch grammar, the process is really organic and enjoyable. I also really appreciate all of the little tips Rick provides regarding nuances of the Dutch language, as well as insights into Dutch culture and life in the Netherlands. An added benefit is that because of his fluency in English, Rick is able to really help me nail down accurate translations. If you’re looking for a tutor to help you improve your Dutch language skills I HIGHLY recommend Rick!
