Hi! I'm Andrea and I come from the city of sun, Naples! I'm a master student in Comparative Culture and Literature, focusing on English and Japanese languages and literatures. While studying, I work at a publishing where I basically deal with translation. I'm a curious and openminded person, always ready to expand my horizons.
Patience and understanding are my traits, dialogue for me is fundamental. I always try to meet my students halfway. Irony is the key to success when it comes to teaching, but of course I never lose track my (and your) goals!
My lesson are always based on conversation and oral and written production, even though I always try to provide grammar basis. I really love working on texts, both news and stories, since they always give the chance to talk and discuss about many things! I tend to avoid a notionistic and rigid method (Especially with advanced students) because I think that real and spoken languages need to be lived and experienced, not studied.我的教材

Mi sento davvero fortunata di aver avuto l’opportunità di fare una lezione con Andrea. Ho trovato un insegnante colto, interessante e pieno di personalità che lavora in modo impegnativo per aiutare i suoi studenti. L’ora che ho passato con lui è volata e ho imparato molto da lui. Mi ha mandato un romanzo per studiare insieme e abbiamo parlato del più e del meno per approfondire sulle nostre vite rispettivamente. Non vedo l’ora di fare la nostra prossima lezione fra un paio di giorni
