My name is Elise. I’m an educator who loves both learning and teaching languages, and I’m fluent in four: Mandarin, Hunan dialect, English, and Thai. Interestingly, my journey in language learning was not always smooth.When I was in my first year of middle school, my English grades were among the worst in the class. My parents even worried I might not get into high school. But just six months later, my English was best in my class. What happened? The answer is simple: interest drives learning.At the time, I became fascinated with the English classic Pride and Prejudice. In the beginning, I had to look up almost every page in the dictionary. My Mission: Make Language Learning Natural and Fun
Whether I’m teaching Chinese or English, my goal is always the same—to help students master a foreign language as easily as they learned their mother tongue. If you’ve ever struggled with learning a language, maybe we can explore together a more effective and enjoyable way!
