Aleksandr

So I read a short story to Aleksandr and he explained some of the difficult words in the text. Then he asked me to summarise the story for him, which was useful, because it required critical thinking and then forming sentences from the summary in my head. Then we talked about fasting in general. Very enjoyable lesson.

The lesson was great and encouraging, Aleksandr helps you with vocabulary so you can speak in Russian, and he is very patient and makes you feel comfortable during the lesson, thank you 😊

We read two stories, one about a misunderstanding about hair drying and another about a girl crawling into the cupboard in the kindergarten. Both are funny stories, and I learnt how Russian jokes work with misunderstood words.

Highly recommend taking this course. The show is really funny, but the language not too difficult. Alex speaks clearly and explains well, using Russian as much as possible. I was laughing and having lots of fun discussing the funny language in the show.

Aleksandr gave me two funny short stories to read. We talked about the plots in the stories, and I love the punchlines at the end.

I expressed difficulty in reading, and Aleksandr gave me a couple of tiny stories to read and discuss. It was difficult but interesting.
