Hi，I am Liko. I'm a native speaker of Mandarin and I speak fluently in English and Cantonese.
My major is translation and interpreting in Chinese and English. I love to explore the multi-culture. Since 2018 I have participated in many multicultural activities. And I have made many friends from different countries. In 2019 I was an universiade volunteer in Russia and I went to the local school to spread Chinese culture and teach some Chinese lessons. Now I also engage in multicultural activities. I hope we can break the stereotype in different cultures. Besides, I want more people to have a further understanding of Chinese.我的教學經歷
I have three years of teaching experience, teaching students from children to adult. I can teach all levels of students. For kids, I know how to interact with them in funny ways, like we play games, watch videos, read flashcards.
For beginners or teenagers or adult, based on your objective, I will design the plans for you and prepare your personal materials for you in every class. We will use whiteboard to learn Chinese pinyin and characters. More importantly, we will listen to short stories and make simple conversation. My courses will be student-centered and can be customized based on students' requirements and interests.我的課程內容與教學風格

Loved the fact that my tutor could teach me in both Cantonese and Mandarin. Loved that she could help me understand what song lyrics meant in Cantonese. Loved that she could help me read in Cantonese, and then read in Mandarin. Loved that she could show me traditional writing, as well as simplified version.

Liko is an awesome teacher, with a wide array of resources that she leverages very well. She is able to cater to her student's needs, in my case I already speak Mandarin, so Liko is instantly able to identify areas where I will already have a foundational knowledge and focus on areas more relevant.
